Vocational Curriculum
Pupils study classes in all aspects of the performing arts and are taught by experienced professional tutors.
Outside vocational classes may be attended by prior permission only.
DANCE - choreography, contemporary, jazz, ballet, tap and street dance
MUSIC - Music theory, musical theatre, pop, rock, and jazz singing, group singing, one to one vocal technique, guitar, keyboard, composition, sound engineering.
DRAMA - voice and speech, text and script analysis, audition technique, theatre history and acting for theatre, radio and TV.
Trinity Guildhall speech and drama exams.
Musical Theatre Club meets after school and works towards regular performances at various charity events.
Techi Club meets after school and offers classes in sound recording and theatre lighting.
VISITS AND OUTINGS
Pupils have the opportunity of viewing a variety of fringe and West End shows, meeting the cast and interviewing them for their drama, music and dance theory assignments. We also have the opportunity to visit museums and art galleries.
